About Us

 We are a Christ centered, Bible believing, Spirit filled church that emphasizes personal relationships within a friendly church family atmosphere. 

Our church began in 1994 in a home Bible Study. Several small groups combined to become a church plant out of Faith Center Foursquare Church, in nearby Eureka. We currently lease facilities at the Lifehouse Humboldt at 1947 Sutter Rd in McKinleyville. 

Jesus said, "And I also say to you ... on this rock [i.e. meaning Himself as the bedrock] I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it" (Matthew 16:18).

The Church on the Rock is a small church affiliated with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel.  

"Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday and forever"  (Hebrews 13:8).

We believe in the four-fold ministry of Jesus Christ as: 

• Savior (Romans 10:9); 
• Baptizer with the Holy Spirit (Luke 3:16); 
• Healer (1 Peter 2:24); and 
• Coming King (Acts 1:11).

The Foursquare Church promotes unity in essentials, liberty in non-essentials and charity in all things.
